GraceSide Ministry
“I was sick and you looked after me.” Matthew 25:36
GraceSide Ministry’s mission is to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through visitation, spiritual encouragement, prayer, respectful listening, Bible reading, Christian education, and compassionate companionship for individuals experiencing illness, hospitalization, disability, aging, loneliness, grief, hardship, or other difficult circumstances.
FOUNDER & SERVANT
We see, care for, and serve people in need.
We stand with you in faith and hope.
We share the Gospel when you are ready.
No one is too broken, too lost, or too far. Everyone is welcome, because God’s love has no limits.
We bring prayer, scripture, and a caring presence to patients during a hospital stay, before and after surgery, and through long recoveries. Every visit is arranged with the hospital chaplain.
Request a hospital visitMany residents go weeks without a visitor. Our teams return regularly to read, sing, pray, and talk, so residents know they are remembered and loved.
Request a visitAt the end of life, we offer gentle comfort for the patient and for the family keeping watch, whether in a hospice facility or at home.
Request a hospice visitChaplains often get more requests than they can answer. We serve under their guidance to respond to specific requests from patients and families, from a bedside prayer to support for a grieving family.
Chaplains: send a requestEach kit holds a warm blanket, large-print scripture, a devotional, and handwritten cards. Kits are given during visits where facilities allow them.
Give a comfort kitEvery GraceSide visitor completes training in bedside care, prayer, and patient privacy before their first visit.
Become a visitorFor patients, families, and chaplains. Here’s how it works.
A patient, family, or chaplain tells us who needs a visit, where they are, and what would bring them comfort.
We confirm the visit with the facility’s chaplain or care team so it fits the patient’s needs and the facility’s guidelines.
A GraceSide team visits to pray, read, listen, or simply be present, and follows up with the family if they wish.

Online giving is coming soon. For now, this sends your pledge to our team by email and we’ll follow up with how to give.
Families, chaplains, and donors trust us with a lot. Here’s what we promise in return.
We believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ died and rose again, and that the Bible is God’s Word. We serve every patient with love, whatever their background or beliefs.
We never share a patient’s name, condition, or story without permission. Visitors follow each facility’s privacy rules and the guidance of its chaplain.
Every gift goes toward visits, volunteer training, and care for families. We share yearly reports with our partners, and our nonprofit details will be listed here.
